A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position will support predominantly middle and high school students within a caseload of approximately 60 students. The role requires availability as soon as possible through May 22nd, working 25 to 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and consultative services.
- Provide direct services to about 30 students regularly receiving therapy.
- Consult monthly with an additional 30 students to support their communication goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially middle and high school populations.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families.
