A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatrics and school-based therapy is needed to support multiple K-8 school sites in Mechanicsburg, PA. This contract position offers a full-time, 40-hour per week schedule during the current school year and provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population across three different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-8 students, focusing on individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide teletherapy when necessary, ensuring consistent and accessible therapy services.
  • Support and supervise Clinical Fellows (CFYs) in their professional development.
  • Work alongside a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with educational and healthcare standards.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within a school or healthcare setting.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state.
  • Ability to deliver teletherapy services as needed.
  • CFYs are encouraged to apply; supervisory support will be provided.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location:

  • Multiple school sites in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
  • Majority of services concentrated at one site, with 2.0 FTE needed at a dedicated K-8 school.
