A dynamic opportunity exists for a dedicated candidate in Smyrna, DE, within a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the full school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Current DE Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong ability to evaluate, assess, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Proficient in writing IEPs and attending multidisciplinary meetings
Location: Smyrna, DE
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students
- Conduct evaluations to assess students’ needs and progress
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Attend and actively participate in educational meetings and staff collaborations
- Collect and analyze progress monitoring data to inform therapy practices
- Document therapy sessions and student progress through required software systems
