A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current and upcoming school year at an elementary school serving students from PreK through 6th grade. The role offers a caseload of approximately 25 students and focuses on providing direct and indirect services including assessments, therapy, IEP development, and thorough documentation. While previous school-based experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret speech-language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs and related services
- Provide both direct therapy and indirect consultative services to students
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Vermont SLP license, or eligibility to apply for one
- ASHA certification is highly desirable, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience working within elementary school settings is advantageous but not required
