A dedicated candidate is sought for a full-time position during the extended school year in Homer, LA. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 setting, with a strong possibility for contract renewal.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Manage a caseload of approximately 34 students, delivering services in both direct and indirect formats.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and service delivery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current State Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is preferred, though not required.
- Clinical fellows are encouraged to apply and gain valuable experience.
Location:
- Homer, LA, servicing two school locations.
