A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting located in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position runs through the remainder of the current school year, offering a schedule of four days per week with hybrid or fully virtual work options.
Key qualifications and skills desired include:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of teletherapy service delivery models
- Experience or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) programs
- Ability to work collaboratively with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) in school or healthcare environments
- Proficiency with evaluations and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
Primary responsibilities encompass managing a caseload of approximately 38 students ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade. The position requires conducting speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, and utilizing AAC devices to support student communication. The role supports both in-person and remote therapy sessions to accommodate hybrid service delivery.
