A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and involves working closely with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their full academic and social potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly to adjust plans as needed
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with elementary school students in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of childhood communication disorders and therapeutic techniques
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with children, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records
