Job Type Contract

A full-time or part-time licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for an elementary school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade. This contract position, starting in January and continuing through the end of the school year, is based onsite in Mobile, AL. The schedule initially requires three days per week with the potential to increase to full-time hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in Pre-K through 6th grade
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience or training in school-based speech-language services, preferably with Pre-K through elementary age children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of school regulations and special education procedures is beneficial

Location:
Onsite assignment at an elementary school in Mobile, Alabama
