An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to provide essential speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12 school setting. This role focuses on supporting students with varied needs, primarily within a mixed caseload of mild to moderate disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in K-12 settings, particularly with special education students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Hesperia, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing assessment processes
