An engaging opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary school setting during an extended school year program. This contract position runs from June 16 to July 10, 2025, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 12 PM.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and therapy techniques
Location:
Mount Pleasant, PA
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement comprehensive IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and student progress
