Speech Language Pathologist in Mount Pleasant, PA

An engaging opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary school setting during an extended school year program. This contract position runs from June 16 to July 10, 2025, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 12 PM.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
• CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
• Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and therapy techniques

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement comprehensive IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in a positive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and student progress
