An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings to support a K-12 educational program in Morris, Illinois. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, serving students primarily on the autism spectrum across multiple schools.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary and junior high students within a caseload of approximately 35 students, distributed among three schools (one in Morris and two nearby schools).
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Monitor progress and maintain documentation in compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working as an SLP in school settings.
- Knowledge of strategies to support students with autism spectrum disorders.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently.
Location:
- Morris, Illinois, serving three local schools with a combined caseload.
Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time, averaging 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract through the 2025-2026 school year.
