An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings to support a K-12 educational program in Morris, Illinois. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, serving students primarily on the autism spectrum across multiple schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary and junior high students within a caseload of approximately 35 students, distributed among three schools (one in Morris and two nearby schools).
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
  • Monitor progress and maintain documentation in compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working as an SLP in school settings.
  • Knowledge of strategies to support students with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently.

Location:

  • Morris, Illinois, serving three local schools with a combined caseload.

Schedule and Duration:

  • Full-time, averaging 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract through the 2025-2026 school year.
