Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, fostering effective communication skills.
  • Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support the overall educational development of students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of professionals and families.
  • Knowledge of IEP development and educational policies.
