This full-time position focuses on providing essential services to students at the middle and high school levels, specifically covering a maternity leave until June 6, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in middle and high school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
Location: Grand Haven, MI
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
