An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric and school settings. This part-time position, offering 22.5 hours per week across two school buildings, focuses on providing vital support to students from preschool through middle school ages.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatric populations
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP objectives
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and augmentative communication tools

Location: Elgin, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver speech-language therapy addressing various developmental areas, including social language skills and articulation
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Provide comprehensive reports based on student assessments and observations
  • Work with students with moderate to severe disabilities, fostering their communication skills
  • Collaborate with parents and educational staff to support students’ developmental progress
