This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential services within a K-12 public school setting in the Elgin, IL area. The role is available on a contract basis from January 5, 2026, through May 20, 2026, and requires on-site presence across multiple school sites, primarily serving early childhood and elementary age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across several school locations, including early childhood programs
  • Manage a caseload that may include itinerant assignments involving evaluations and therapy between up to two schools
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License with an SLP endorsement and valid Illinois SLP license
  • Bilingual candidates proficient in English and Spanish are highly desired
  • Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are considered, provided supervision can be arranged
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred but not required

Assignment Details:

  • Location: Elgin, IL (Chicago Area)
  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours daily)
  • Assignment Sites: Multiple, including IL Park (Early Childhood), Independence (Early Childhood), Timber Trails Elementary, and itinerant evaluations
  • Caseload will vary by site and student needs
