Location: Chula Vista, California

Position: Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school team in Chula Vista, CA. The ideal candidate will work with students from preschool through high school, providing high-quality services to those with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a school setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students needing SLP services.
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Provide education and support to students and their families regarding speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid California SLP license.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
