Pediatric School-Based SLP | Navarre, Florida

This full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at a K-12 school in Navarre, FL, offering an engaging role supporting elementary students. The contract runs for the current school year, providing a structured 40-hour workweek with dedicated time for paperwork and documentation.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy to approximately 60-65 students.
• Working with a diverse caseload, including general education students and self-contained special education classrooms.
• Collaborating with school and district specialists to support student needs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certification and credentials for School SLP, including eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.
• Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy.
• Familiarity with school-based speech services and ability to manage a sizable caseload.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient documentation and reporting.

This role offers supportive infrastructure, featuring district-level Speech-Language Impairment (SLI) Staffing Specialists to assist with paperwork and training, an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) specialist, and leadership with an SLP background to guide program development.

No additional duties such as bus or car rider duty are assigned, allowing focus on direct therapy and documentation.
