A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school in Nevada City, CA. This contract role runs throughout the current school year (CSY) and involves working directly with school-aged children to support their communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing individual needs
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
  • Involve families in the therapy process by offering education and support

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and team members effectively
  • Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment
  • Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California
