Pediatric SLP in Havelock, NC

An opportunity exists for a specialist to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Havelock, NC. This contract position is focused on delivering high-quality communication services to children, addressing a variety of speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

• Certification (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
• Proficiency in teletherapy practices
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision experience is a plus

Location: Havelock, NC

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on assessment results
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation required by the school
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
