A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential speech and language services in a K-12 school setting, covering both elementary and high school students. This role is a maternity leave contract opportunity based in San Antonio, TX, offering flexible part-time and full-time options to fit different caseload needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language pathology services to students across K-12 grades.
  • Manage a split caseload between high school and elementary school settings.
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain compliance with professional licensing requirements and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) credential.
  • Valid professional license to practice speech-language pathology.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload, ranging from early childhood through high school.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Position Details:

  • Location: San Antonio, TX (On-site)
  • Contract: Maternity leave coverage
  • Duration: March 31, 2026, through May 29, 2026
  • Hours: One part-time position (20 hours/week) and one full-time position (37.5 hours/week)
  • Student Age Group: K-12
  • Caseload split between elementary and high school students
