Location: Waterbury, CT
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress in alignment with IEP goals.
- Engage with students, parents, and teachers to promote effective communication strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of clinical competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.
- Previous experience working in educational settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and staff.
- Ability to collaborate within a team to enhance student outcomes.
