A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in New Britain, CT. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through June 9, 2026. The role involves providing speech therapy services onsite from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.

The student caseload is approximately 50, covering a range of disabilities within an inclusion setting rather than specialized classrooms. This number may vary depending on student enrollment changes.

Key qualifications and requirements include:

  • CCC certification preferred; Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are also encouraged to apply
  • Active SLP license in Connecticut
  • Previous school-based experience is mandatory
  • Completion of district fingerprints and background checks
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered for this role

Responsibilities consist of:

  • Delivering individualized speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development as required
