A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in New Britain, CT. This contract role begins ASAP and continues through June 9, 2026, with a work schedule of 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week onsite. The position serves approximately 50 students within inclusion settings, covering a range of disability categories rather than specialized classrooms. Caseload numbers may fluctuate depending on student enrollment changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students within inclusive classrooms.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and conduct ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district guidelines and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology required.
  • Active Connecticut state license to practice as an SLP.
  • District background check and fingerprints clearance mandatory.
  • School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates are not eligible.
