Seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for contract positions in schools located in Bloomfield and Manchester, CT. These full-time roles, offering 30-40 hours per week, are ideal for professionals looking to support student communication development from now through mid-June (End of School Year).

Locations & Student Populations:

  • Bloomfield Campus: Serving grades 6-12
  • Manchester Campus: Serving grades K-5
  • Each site supports approximately 5-7 students

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience working in school settings, supporting children with speech and language needs
  • Ability to assist with individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and therapists

Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech and language interventions designed by the supervising SLP
  • Monitor and document student progress with attention to detail
  • Assist in preparing materials and adapting lessons for therapy sessions
  • Support a caseload of students to improve communication skills and academic performance
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success strategies
