This full-time speech-language pathologist opportunity is based in an elementary school setting in Newark, DE. You will serve a caseload of approximately 40-45 elementary students, supporting their communication and language development throughout the school year. The position is offered on a contract basis with an immediate start and runs through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), or eligibility as an SLP during Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid SLP School certification
  • Experience working with an elementary-aged student population preferred
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently and collaborate with educators and families
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned students in one school building
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reviews
