A full-time school-based Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to serve an elementary caseload in New Haven, CT. This contract position runs from February through the end of the school year, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to students' communication development in an engaging elementary school setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring student progress
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience with teletherapy services preferred
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience providing speech-language services in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
