This full-time, onsite speech-language pathologist position in New Orleans, LA, serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a school setting. The role is a contract position for the entire school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders to K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in school settings
- Knowledge of teletherapy methods and ability to adapt treatment remotely when needed
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
