Located in Long Island, NY, this role is designed to cover a leave of absence, allowing for a meaningful impact on students' communication skills until the end of the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Create and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA CCC; Clinical Fellows will be considered in some cases.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist License in New York.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
