A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) population. This contract opportunity begins ASAP and runs through June 23, 2026, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The role focuses on providing targeted speech-language services to 5-8 students with ASD, supporting their communication and language development throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate speech, language, and communication needs of students with ASD
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique goals
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to 5-8 elementary-aged children daily
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation consistent with school and legal requirements

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist candidates considered
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with children on the autism spectrum
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for ASD and related communication disorders
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
