Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Niles, Michigan

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school located in Niles, MI, for a contract position lasting through the current school year. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population requiring speech and language services within an educational setting.

Key qualifications and skills:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for early career candidates
• Strong background in pediatrics and educational healthcare settings
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) targeting communication disorders

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting speech and language assessments for K-12 students
• Designing and delivering evidence-based therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with educational regulations
• Participating in team meetings and professional development as required

This contract position starts ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year. Candidates must be available full-time for the duration of the assignment.
