School-Based SLP | Norfolk, Virginia

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school located in Chesapeake, VA, serving students in the Virginia Beach area. This role involves covering a maternity leave from approximately September 25, 2025, through December 18, 2025. The position is on-site and requires working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing speech and language therapy services to elementary school-aged children
• Assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans for students with speech or language impairments
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by school and state policies

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
• Experience working with elementary school students preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and related therapies
• Ability to work full-time onsite for the duration of the contract
