Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity in Norristown, PA offering full-time, contract work in an elementary school setting. This position supports students from kindergarten through 8th grade by delivering comprehensive speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students.
  • Assist with overflow cases in elementary grades.
  • Deliver compensatory speech services for prior year students.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support student success.
  • Utilize IEP writer tools to document and track student progress.
  • Support students with dedication and adaptability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Pennsylvania license and certifications in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in schools, particularly with pediatric caseloads, is highly valued.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred.
  • Strong skills in collaboration and communication within multidisciplinary teams.

Position Details:

  • Location: Norristown, Pennsylvania
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract duration: ASAP through the end of the current school year
  • Preference for onsite, in-person candidates near the Norristown area
