This position offers a part-time opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an early childhood school setting in Norristown, PA. The role focuses on supporting students aged kindergarten through 4th grade with speech and language needs during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract assignment is ideal for professionals experienced in pediatric speech therapy within educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations (ERs/RRs) to assess students’ communication skills.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Track student progress regularly and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and parents to support student growth.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10-20 students, providing services 2 days per week.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in pediatric healthcare and school-based settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood speech and language development.
- Strong organizational skills to complete documentation and progress monitoring.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including educators and families.
