A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting located in Norristown, PA, serving students through a contract position for the current school year (CSY). This role supports the Early Intervention program within a regional educational service agency based in Broomall, PA, and offers a flexible schedule with an emphasis on meeting diverse student needs across multiple nearby communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services to eligible students within assigned school zones, including Upper Darby, Yeadon, Broomall, Lansdowne, and Aston areas.
  • Collaborate with a team of three SLPs to deliver effective early intervention support.
  • Maintain caseloads and documentation in alignment with program guidelines and state regulations.
  • Adapt service delivery to meet the needs of individual students and their families.
  • Participate in regular communication and planning to ensure continuity of services across assigned areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification (CCC - Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-age children and early intervention programs.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple geographic locations within the service area.
  • Ability to commit at least two days per week; full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) availability is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with educational teams and families.

Location: Broomall, PA (servicing nearby communities including Norristown, Upper Darby, Yeadon, Lansdowne, and Aston)

Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY) contract
