Provide speech-language support for elementary students within a vibrant school setting located in North Charleston, SC. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a varied caseload at an established school, with a focus on direct student interaction and collaboration with educational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to support student communication and learning goals.
  • Manage a caseload with established schedules, providing individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to track progress and adjust interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
  • Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of South Carolina is required.
  • Experience or interest in school-based speech-language services.
  • Candidates with active licenses and supervision arrangements are encouraged to apply, including Clinical Fellows seeking supervision.
  • Commitment to supporting an inclusive and dynamic educational environment.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based at an elementary school in North Charleston, SC (Whitesville Elementary - Moncks Corner).
  • Full-time role consisting of 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract period starts as soon as possible, ideally January 5, through April 3, with potential to extend.
  • Observes school holidays and closure dates including January 19, February 16, April 6-10, and May 25.
