A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in North Hollywood, CA, serving a school setting on a contract basis. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse population, utilizing skills across pediatric, healthcare, school, teletherapy, CFY, and SLPA environments to support individuals with communication challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain CCC
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, healthcare, teletherapy, or clinical fellowship year settings preferred
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Prior work with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Designing and implementing customized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals
  • Employing evidence-based therapy techniques to enhance communication, cognition, and oral motor skills
  • Monitoring patient progress and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Collaborating with educators, healthcare providers, and families to ensure integrated care and positive outcomes
