This role offers the chance to work with a diverse population, utilizing skills across pediatric, healthcare, school, teletherapy, CFY, and SLPA environments to support individuals with communication challenges.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain CCC
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, healthcare, teletherapy, or clinical fellowship year settings preferred
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Prior work with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Designing and implementing customized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals
- Employing evidence-based therapy techniques to enhance communication, cognition, and oral motor skills
- Monitoring patient progress and adapting strategies accordingly
- Collaborating with educators, healthcare providers, and families to ensure integrated care and positive outcomes
