Location: North Little Rock, AR, with the possibility of assignments in surrounding areas such as Jacksonville and England, AR.
Position Details:
- Contract-based role with an initial commitment of 4 to 5 hours per week
- Typical schedule includes 2 hours of direct student contact and 2 hours of indirect service
- Morning hours preferred to accommodate student nap times, though some flexibility may be available
- Potential for growth to increase service hours and responsibilities, possibly leading to full-time placement
Candidate Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or credentials for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Experience working in school or daycare environments with children
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage both direct therapy and indirect tasks
- Flexibility to work in different locations and accommodate evolving scheduling needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services directly to students
- Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation related to student progress
