A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services to elementary students in the Switzerland County area, starting in March 2026 through May 22, 2026. This position offers 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, supporting students through both direct and indirect speech-language services during a leave of absence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language pathology services to elementary school students
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring student progress
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student communication goals
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with appropriate credentials (CFY or CCC preferred)
- Experience working in school-based settings with elementary-aged children
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in school-aged populations
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect therapeutic services effectively
