A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 24/25 school year, providing specialized services primarily to a 9th-grade population. This contract role involves managing a caseload of 35 to 45 students and delivering individualized speech and language support in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and communication skills
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in a secondary education environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse student needs independently
