A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Oakland, CA, working with K-12 students. This contract position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time schedules for the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to deliver effective remote services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Pediatric experience and a strong background in school-based therapy preferred.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
  • Skilled in delivering teletherapy and traditional in-person therapy.
  • Ability to work effectively in educational and healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
