Support students’ communication development in an elementary school setting in Oakland, OR, with this contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role offers a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) from January 5, 2026, through June 12, 2026, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students across grades K-12.
Ideal candidates will have experience working within school environments, demonstrating strong skills in speech-language pathology tailored to children and adolescents. Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Open and supportive of Clinical Fellows entering the profession
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy services
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and educational standards
- Adapt strategies to meet the developmental needs of students across varying grade levels
