Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists in an engaging educational environment. This position is based in Escondido, California, within an elementary school setting, and spans the upcoming school year.
Location: Escondido, CA
Contract Duration: Full-time, with the possibility of part-time arrangements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students from Pre-K to 2nd grade.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students' communication needs.
- Manage and document progress for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services as outlined in IEPs.
- Engage with students, parents, and faculty to foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active or pending California Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- ASHA certification is a plus; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
