An opportunity is available for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on supporting the communicative needs of students, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and resources necessary for their development.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly with elementary students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP documentation.
- Act as a resource for parents and staff regarding communication disorders and strategies.
