An onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to serve elementary students for the current school year in Lacey, WA. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting a caseload of 44-50 students across two locations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Developing individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals
  • Providing direct therapy to students to improve communication skills
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure consistency and progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) is required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high caseload effectively
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing school-based services
