Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students’ communication development throughout the school year! This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists eager to work onsite with dedicated school communities near Omaha, NE. You’ll work on a supportive team, serving elementary-aged students at one or two school sites, with a caseload of 40-60. With ample planning time built into your schedule, your clinical skills will guide students toward academic and social success.
What we’re seeking:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state licensure in Nebraska, or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Prior experience (preferably in school-based or pediatric settings).
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to working in-person for the full school year.
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite to elementary learners.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families.
- Adapt and implement evidence-based interventions for diverse student needs.
- Maintain accurate records, comply with school/district policies, and document services.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
