A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services within K-12 school settings across multiple sites. This contract opportunity is based in Opelika, AL, supporting students throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and effective intervention techniques.
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Location:

  • Opelika, AL
  • Multiple K-12 school sites within the district

Employment Details:

  • Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract position for the academic school year (CSY)
