An opportunity has arisen for a skilled candidate to provide essential services within a K-12 educational setting in Anaheim, CA. This contract position is focused on supporting students' communication needs for the upcoming school year, with a particular interest in candidates who are recent graduates.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) status.
- Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and parents.
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Location:
- Anaheim, California (Onsite at a K-12 School).
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support students' overall development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student needs.
