SLP in Orange City, FL

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Orange City, FL, providing valuable services within local schools. This position involves working across multiple school locations, supporting students with speech and language needs in an educational setting.

Location and Schedule:

• Four days split between Ormond Beach Elementary (three days) and Pine Trail Elementary (one day) in Ormond Beach, FL
• Four days at Silver Sands Middle School in Port Orange, FL
• For the upcoming year, the position will transition to a full five-day schedule
• 37.5 hours per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract end date: June 5, 2026

Qualifications and Experience:

• Florida Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Bachelor’s degree clinicians willing to work under a temporary teaching certificate are considered for this year (SLPA license holders are not eligible)
• Experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred
• Ability to supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) is a plus
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations within schools

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services at assigned elementary and middle schools
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
