This opportunity is ideal for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) specializing in school settings. Located in Oroville, CA, this contract role supports K-12 students across a dynamic school year (CSY) calendar. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
- Provide engaging therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Track progress carefully through detailed documentation and data collection
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support student success
- Educate and involve families in therapy techniques and progress to maximize outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Ability to function independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
This role requires active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and a Master’s degree or higher. Candidates with certification and experience in school settings will excel in this environment.
