A contractual opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in providing therapeutic services within a K-12 educational setting. The position is based in Tacoma, WA, and spans the entire school year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and assessments
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Conduct workshops and training for staff on speech and language development
